Steven Bunker is a co-founder and principal of Axia Consulting Group, a Macon, Georgia engineering consulting and electrical design firm established in 2020. Steven previously founded S.C. Bunker Consulting and has seven years of experience in electrical engineering. He is an alumnus of the University of Georgia.
Steven’s design experience includes power, lighting, and fire alarm systems for industrial facilities, medical facilities, high rises, core-and-shell buildings, multifamily residential, hospitality, restaurants, and agricultural facilities. He also has expertise in power and lighting design for civil/municipal and industrial projects including water/wastewater facilities, city parks, and athletic facilities. Steven is also experienced in existing building evaluations, arc-flash studies, and designs for new construction, additions, renovations, and repairs.
Steven is an industry expert in electrical design utilizing Autodesk Revit. He frequently works with Autodesk and third-party Revit developers to develop new Revit features, software, and modeling standards. Steven takes pride in applying advanced Revit knowledge to his clients’ projects.

Dan Heldt, MBA, PE
Co-Founder and Principal
Management Consultant and Mechanical Engineer
Dan Heldt is a co-founder and principal of Axia Consulting Group, a Macon, Georgia engineering consulting and electrical design firm established in 2020. Dan has worked as an administrative force in numerous projects for several firms, and has over 30 years of experience in energy infrastructure and professional service firm leadership. He received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, and is also an almnus of the University of Michigan, where he received his Masters Degree in Business Administration.
Dan’s experience includes work with pipelines, fiber optic cables, and other engineering projects. He also has experience in general management, corporate strategy, project administration, and other leadership roles.
